teach reading and writing Japanese with Japanese Sign Language

Can you imagine reading and writing Japanese without any phonological representation?
In Japan, educational policy has not allowed to learn sign language at deaf schools. they have been forced to learn lip reading and oral speech.
But, that system is changing.

One surprising attempt is teaching reading and writing with Japanese Sign Language, not with Manually Coded Languages (MCLs, representations of spoken languages in a gestural-visual form; that is, "sign language" versions of spoken languages this is from Wikipedia).

the following school, so-far it's not registered school but maybe it will become registered
private school, started such challenges.
Point is that they basically teach how to read and write Japanese language without its phonology (I mean without any sound or even finger spelling).

This is the first posting and I want to follow their teaching and its products.
